Only officially licensed manufacturers are allowed to produce items featuring the Michigan State University name, logos, or other trademarks.

This rule applies to all merchandise — including all apparel and promotional items — whether they’re made for university departments, registered student organizations, or third-party partners.

Licensed manufacturers have been carefully vetted to ensure:

• High product quality

• Proper product liability insurance

• Compliance with fair labor standards
